Professor of Physics Engineering at Istanbul Medeniyet University Dr. Nureddin TÜRKAN's project titled "THERE IS FESTIVAL IN SCIENCE ON CAMPUS" has been deemed eligible to be supported under the TÜBİTAK 4007 Science Festival Program.
Within the scope of the calls for proposals in September 2018, the project titled “THERE IS A FEST IN SCIENCE SCIENCE” on behalf of our university Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences was accepted. This project in which 37 workshops prepared was accepted to popularize science in the society under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Nureddin Türkan. In the science festival held for this purpose, in addition to interviews and speeches by academician who are experts in their fields there were exhibitions such as called "Robotic Design with Coding", "Nature and Science", "Smart numbers and Mathematics", "Let's read DNA", "Recycle Waste", "Science-Show", "Rocket Design"and "Mind Games". For this purpose, it is foreseen that 55000 people from all age groups from 7 to 77 will actively participate and take part in at least two activities. The project lasted for 8 months with all the processes taking place in our university's Göztepe campus areas.
